Welcome to Giggle Hub!

It is our aim to become a complete online directory for the British comedy circuit, and the first social network designed exclusively for comedians.

Our facilities include:

• A free, online presence, complete with bio, testimonials, and details of your act type
• An easy-to-update online diary with details of gigs, holidays, etc. with handy widgets to link to your personal website
• A simple search engine for promoters looking to fill a gap on their bill with a specific act/type of act
• The ability to recommend and be recommended by other acts on Giggle Hub, in order to help boost your profile
• The option to link to other online information about yourself, in order to truly make your profile a hub for your comedy career

Giggle Hub was conceived in March 2010 by Phil Bottomley and Tom Young. Phil is a web developer, while Tom is, himself, a comedian, regularly gigging on the British circuit. Together, they pooled their knowledge to produce this site.

The site had undergone several changes and facelifts during its long development process, as new features were added, and the old ones were tweaked. Finally, we arrived at a version we were happy to offer to the public, which was launched in October 2012.
