Before becoming a stand up comedian, James had many careers, having worked as a welder, a social worker a telecoms engineer an IT trainer and a computer systems engineer, but not all at the same time.

Having traveled extensively throughout Europe and Africa, James has picked up a wealth of material on the way.

James joined a public speaking club to help with his IT training career and discovered that his true calling was the stage.

He took up competitive speaking and won 2 UK and 1 International Championship. He has featured in a national or international final every year for the past 7 years and is regarded as one of the UK’s best public speakers.

Up until now James specialty has been humorous after dinner speeches, with each one being tailored for the target audience.

Having made his triumphant stand up debut in November 2012, James is ready to take on a new challenge.
